Meet Scott Miller
Bradenton Criminal Defense Attorney
Scott M. Miller is a 1992 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in
Lansing, Michigan and a graduate of Florida State University. He is licensed
to practice law in all of Florida's State Courts as well as Federal
courts for the Northern, Southern, and Middle District Courts of Florida.
Mr. Miller started his legal career as an assistant public defender. During
this time, he defended thousands of clients and developed valuable trial
experience. In 1995, Mr. Miller then served as assistant state prosecutor
for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, where he prosecuted a broad range of
crimes. He has earned a reputation as an aggressive advocate and fierce
In 1997, Mr. Miller decided to enter into private practice to focus on
providing high-quality, personalized defense to clients. He has represented
clients against a variety of charges, including simple misdemeanors to
complex multi-defendant racketeering and murder charges.
Mr. Miller currently resides in Manatee County with his wife and four children.
He is actively involved in the community and enjoys supporting organizations
such as little league baseball, the local YMCA, afterschool programs,
and Sarasota County's Temple Beth Sholom.
